چکیده
Introduction: Plants are often exposed to short-term temperature stresses (average 2-4 hours) or “temperature drops”. It is in the first hours of stress (alarm phase response) that metabolic changes occur, which go on contribute formation primary stress-induced response. Materials and Methods: Winter rye Secale cereale L. ‘Boguslavka’ plants were grown under controlled conditions a vegetation chamber. Fourteen-day-old heat (+40°C, 2 h) cold (+4°C, studied. The dynamics distribution free amino acids (AAs), total phenols (TPHs), flavonoids (TFs), as well content photosynthetic pigments, all determined according standard procedures. Results: Accumulation secondary metabolites organs winter depended type temperature, stress, plant organ. In alarm cold-resistant after increased accumulation AAs (GABA, Pro, Asp, Cys, Val) decreased chlorophyll. Both types inhibited TPHs, this effect was more pronounced stress. Conclusion: Quantitative qualitative low molecular weight protectors indicated TPHs involved response both plants. ability accumulate roots considered one prerequisites for resistance. apparatus susceptible stressors response, by significantly pigment.

Sequence Composition and Gene Content of the Short Arm of Rye (Secale cereale) Chromosome 1
BACKGROUND The purpose of the study is to elucidate the sequence composition of the short arm of rye chromosome 1 (Secale cereale) with special focus on its gene content, because this portion of the rye genome is an integrated part of several hundreds of bread wheat varieties worldwide. METHODOLOGY/PRINCIPAL FINDINGS Multiple Displacement Amplification of 1RS DNA, obtained from flow sorted 1R...
متن کاملOxidative Metabolism of Rye (Secale cereale L.) after Short Term Exposure to Aluminum: Uncovering the Glutathione–Ascorbate Redox Network
One of the major limitations to plant growth and yield in acidic soils is the prevalence of soluble aluminum ions (Al(3+)) in the soil solution, which can irreversible damage the root apex cells. Nonetheless, many Al-tolerant species overcome Al toxicity and are well-adapted to acidic soils, being able to complete their life cycle under such stressful conditions. At this point, the complex phys...

SYSTEMATIC STUDY OF SECALE CEREALE IN IRAN
Secale cereale (rye) with its vitally importance can have a marked place in the world cereal production, particularly in North Europe. This study concerns morphology, taxonomy and cytotaxonomy of this species in Iran. Based on the evaluation of 12 qualitative and quantitative morphological characters and using phenetic analysis, it was revealed that, S. cereale occurs in Iran with two subspecie...
متن کاملStresses in a Multilayer Thin Film/Substrate System Subjected to Nonuniform Temperature
Current methodologies used for the inference of thin film stress through curvature measurements are strictly restricted to uniform film stress and system curvature states over the entire system of a single thin film on a substrate. By considering a circular multilayer thin film/substrate system subjected to nonuniform temperature distributions, we derive relations between the stresses in each f...
